Learn about AICAFE Select's group buy rules, schedule, and service terms
AICAFE Select uses a 3-item group buy mechanism. Each product has both a Direct Buy price and a Group Buy price. When total orders for a product reach 3 or more items before the daily cut-off, the group forms automatically and all orders enjoy the discounted group price. A single person buying 3 items also qualifies!
Two purchase options:
- Direct Buy — Available all day, charged at direct buy price
- Group Buy — Open daily 12:00 PM to 11:59 PM, 3 items total needed for group price
Upon successful group formation, a legally binding purchase agreement is formed between the customer and the merchant.

Example:
Monday 11:59 PM cut-off → Wednesday 3:00 PM pickup starts → Wednesday 11:00 PM pickup ends
Pickup Location:

Pickup Window:
Within 39 to 47 hours after the daily cut-off. The system will notify you of the exact pickup time via email after group formation.
Delivery Service:
Delivery service is available for select products. Delivery fees will be shown at checkout. Delivery timing follows the same pickup window.
Cancellation Window:
Cancellation is allowed within 12 hours of group formation. After 12 hours, orders cannot be cancelled.
Compensation Rules:
Case A: Cancellation does not break the group
e.g., 8 items ordered, cancel 1, still 7 items (≥3). No compensation required.
Case B: Cancellation breaks the group
e.g., 3 items ordered, cancel 1, only 2 remain (less than 3). Compensation required.
Compensation Formula:
Compensation = (Direct Price − Group Price) × Remaining Items
Example:
Direct price $48, Group price $29, difference = $19. After cancellation, 2 items remain. Compensation = $19 × 2 = $38.
AICAFE Select supports the following payment methods:
Online Payment
Via Stripe secure payment gateway. Supports credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX). Pay online after group formation.
Pay at Pickup
Pay in person when picking up your order. Cash, PayNow, and credit cards accepted.
PDF invoices are automatically generated for all successful orders and compensation cases, and emailed to your registered email address.
If you have paid online and cancel within the allowed window, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. Refund processing typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
If cancellation triggers compensation, the compensation amount will be deducted from your refund.
